Join us in thanking God for our founders and for ten years of Moody Bible Institute’s radio ministry in Hawaii!
From the Voices of MBN . . .
Congratulations for 10 wonderful years of service in
Hawaii. What a blessing for Midday Connection to be able to partner with you
to reach our most beautiful state! We wish you many more years of
broadcasting the Good News! Anita Lustrea (for Melinda Schmidt
and Lori Neff)
Congratulations on 10 years of
faithfully sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ to Hawaii on 91.9FM. We’re
very proud and happy have this ministry in Hawaii. Here’s my prayer for 2007-- and I pray it for all of you, too:
"Lead me in the right path, O Lord.
Tell me clearly what to do and show me which way to go." Psalm 5:8 Wayne Pederson, VP Moody Broadcasting
Naomi and I remember our visit to Hilo with joy, and we thank God for your love for the Lord, and your zeal as expressed in support of this radio station. We have said more than once that never had we been met with warmer hospitality than by you. It rained all week, but we remember Hilo not for the weather but for the outpouring of love that we experienced at your hands. May God continue to give you strength and grace for the trail that leads to the heavenly city.
Don Cole Radio Pastor, MBN
We are so thrilled that we are able to be a part of Moody
Radio... for the heart of Hawaii! I truly believe that the Moody
Broadcasting sound of Christian radio is in a class by itself. I thank
God that for ten years you have persevered as Moody Radio’s Hilo satellator.
May you continue to know great joy as you seek to touch many more lives in
Hawaii as you seek to expand both in power and spiritual influence.

On behalf of Dr. Michael Easley, Bible teacher on Proclaim!, let me add my voice to this great celebration. Jonathan Edwards said, “It becomes us to spend this life only as a journey toward heaven… to which we should subordinate all other concerns of life. Why should we set our hearts on anything else, but that which is our proper end and true happiness?” As the radio ministry in Hilo passes through this milestone, my hope -- and encouragement to you as a fellow pilgrim -- is to seek the City whose architect and builder is God. All of Heaven awaits us!
I've enjoyed working behind the scenes to help keep this radio station on the air, albeit, from my Network Development office at MBN-Chicago. It is a great joy to receive e-mails and letters from our many friends in Hilo and the surrounding area that we service with the quality Christian radio that has been a hallmark of the Moody Broadcasting Network, now in our 25th year of providing satellite programming!

Congratulations on the 10th Anniversary to Moody Radio of Hilo. It is the faithful listeners in the Hilo area who keep 91.9FM on the air with regular prayer and financial support. As you can imagine, the cost of almost everything -- electricity, equipment, labor, gas, etc -- is more expensive in Hawaii, and continues to increase. If you haven't yet supported this terrific ministry, I encourage you to become a regular contributor -- even if it's just $5 or $10 per month. With your help, we can see Moody Radio of Hilo flourish for the next 10 years! Congrats!
