Moody Radio's "Sounds of Christmas" Channel Now On The Internet
Hilo, HI (December 8, 2007) -- Now through the end of December, Moody Radio's "Sounds of Christmas" all-music channel may be heard on internet-enabled computers and devices.
"This new channel allows our audience to listen to the Christmas music they love to hear throughout the month of December, and still be able to listen to their favorite programs on the air," said Miles Matsumura, Moody Radio of Hilo's volunteer coordinator.
According to Matsumura, "In past years, Moody Radio of Hilo preempted all educational programming during the final two weeks of the year to broadcast continuous Christmas music. That meant that listeners had to wait until January to hear their favorite programs. Now that the internet is widely used throughout the Big Island, this new channel allows our station to simultaneously broadcast educational programming on the air while broadcasting all-Christmas music on the internet."
Links to the "Sounds of Christmas" channel are posted on the Moody Radio of Hilo website at http://hilo.mbn.org and requires Windows Media Player or compatible software.
Moody Radio of Hilo is a broadcast ministry of the Moody Bible Institute of Chicago. The station's slogan is "Moody Radio... for the heart of Hawaii" and is located at 91.9FM on the air, and at 90.7FM on Oceanic Time Warner Cable's FM audio service.
