Moody Radio presents

The Hope of Hanukkah:  Jesus and the Festival of Lights

Sunday, December 14

7am - 8am Hawaii

It was one of the darkest periods in Israel's history. Demoralized and under foreign domination, God suddenly gave the Jews an unlikely victory. What turned the tide? And how did "Hanukkah, the Festival of Lights" arise from such a gloomy scene?

Moody Radio takes listeners on location to Israel for a riveting you-are-there account. Dramatic elements combine with scintillating interviews and music to paint a memorable picture of the "Festival of Lights." By the end of the journey, listeners discover that Jesus really is the hope of Hanukkah. An excellent tool for sharing with Jewish non-believers.

(This year Hanukkah runs from sundown December 21st to sundown January 1st.)

Hear the wind blowing atop the fortress from which King Herod likely issued his death decree for Bethlehem's baby boys. We'll travel inside the church of the Nativity - the supposed spot where Christ was born, and visit a boisterous Bethlehem marketplace.  Rich stereo soundscapes will transport listeners to ancient streets and curious neighborhoods, as we discover Bethlehem life today.
